The fourth quarter of 2023 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on the Android platform in Poland. Here’s a detailed look at the downloads and weekly active users for these apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Bolt: Request a Ride maintained a fairly steady download rate, fluctuating between 23K and 16K weekly downloads. The app saw a slight dip in the middle of the quarter but rebounded to end the quarter with around 20K downloads in the final week of December. Weekly active users varied between 291K and 249K, showing a gradual decline towards the end of the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a steady flow of downloads, starting at 14.8K in late September and dropping to approximately 9.1K by mid-December. The app, however, showed a surge in downloads, reaching 18.3K in the last week of December. Weekly active users ranged between 229K and 206K, with a noticeable peak of 247K in mid-December.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus saw more modest download numbers, starting at 3.9K in late September and fluctuating throughout the quarter. The highest downloads were recorded in mid-December with 4K. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, ranging between 18.5K and 15.1K, with a slight increase observed towards the end of the quarter.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver had a steady download rate, starting at 1.2K in late September and maintaining similar figures throughout the quarter. The highest downloads were recorded in late November with 1.5K. Weekly active users were consistent, ranging between 7.6K and 6.9K, showing slight fluctuations but no significant changes.

Yandex Go — taxi and delivery started recording downloads in late November with 1.3K, peaking at 1.6K in early December. Weekly active users showed a positive trend, starting at 2.5K in late September and increasing to 3.6K by the end of December.
